Paddle through history as we glide along the serene waters of Pond Creek, where the echoes of early America's timber industry intertwine with the stories of resilience from the Civil War, all set against the breathtaking backdrop of nature's splendor.

Your tour starts at Bagdad Mill's kayak launch, where your guide will meet you to explain the basics of kayaking and what to expect for your trip. The park has a walking trail with photos and remnants of the mill. We suggest arriving early or staying afterward to explore it closely. Our 3.5-mile kayaking tour begins along the outskirts of the historic Bagdad Mill, where your guide will share fascinating tales from the past. As we paddle down Pond Creek, keep your eyes peeled for the majestic osprey and their nests, as well as playful fish, sunbathing turtles, and a variety of wildlife that call this area home.

The journey offers a stunning view of Pond Creek's beautiful landscapes and charming small islands. Along the way, your knowledgeable tour guide will educate you about the rich plant life and wildlife inhabiting this vibrant ecosystem, making it an experience both scenic and enriching. Your tour will finish at the kayak launch, where you can unwind, chat, or check out the park.

    • There is a $25 charge for any changes made to your booking 48 hours prior

    • There is a full refund with no penalty for changes or cancellation with a minimum of 48 hours notice

    • We will refund you 100% of your payment or offer rescheduling if we cancel for any reason
